FARR OUT IN FRONT AT KEP!

Final round of the 2006 series was again held at Newcastle’s picturesque park-by-the-sea on a glorious Spring day.  It’s one of the finest sights on hillclimbing, this year celebrating its 49th running.

Neil Farr (Bowin Hay) took FTD at 34.40s, just outside his course record, from Stephen Hooker in the Jedi Suzuki on 35.82s.  Stan Pobjoy (VW Special) filled third place (37.62s).

Dave Morrow (Krygger Suzuki) grabbed second in the Formula Libre 751-1300cc class and fourth outright at 37.95s, from Geoff Lord (Axtell Suzuki), Allan Hindes (Piranha)and Garry Ford (Escort).

Also impressive was Craig Torrens who set a new Imp Prod record of 40.45s, ahead of fellow VW Beetle pilots Ben Durie and Grant Cook.
